U.S. Training Programs

Micro-Measurements offers a series of comprehensive, coordinated instructional programs in the technologies of experimental stress analysis and precision strain measurement. This training, provided thorough workshops and short courses, is of maximum benefit to those new to these techniques. Experienced personnel can also gain through exposure to the most recent advances in materials, sensors, and instrumentation.

Technical Training Center

Training programs held at the Micro-Measurements Headquarters near Raleigh, North Carolina are conducted in a specially designed Technical Training Center. Appointed with modern audiovisual equipment, custom-designed work stations, and a wide range of instructional equipment beyond that which can be made available in field programs, the Technical Training Center at Micro-Measurements provides the optimum environment for participants to fully benefit from the programs offered in this brochure.

Workshops

Workshop programs provide excellent hands-on training for those who use, plan, supervise, or instruct others in, stress analysis techniques. The number of attendees is limited to allow ample opportunity for use of the measurement instrumentation, and to ensure personalized attention and assistance from the workshop instructors. Short Courses

Short Courses provide the most comprehensive coverage of specific subjects. The hands-on workshop, in combination with additional visual aids and demonstrations, allows wide coverage of the subject but with added depth in key areas. As with workshops, class size is limited to assure that each attendee receives individual attention during hands-on portions of the program. Short Courses currently being offered include:
